There seems to be a mysterious relationship between realm of dreams and state of death of an individual. The individual who dreams wakes up after the process of dream and continues his normal activities of life, whereby a dead person is permanently in a state of trance and all of his physical activities are ceased. Some scientists consider dreaming period an equivalent of death where an individual is permanently in a state of sleep. Dreaming on the other hand is a random and recurring process. A few Muslim saints have written that during sleep the “Soul” or Ruh of an individual leaves the physical body and returns when he wakes up.
