If you see Him in dream- you will surely see Him on the day of judgement and your every wish will be fulfilled. If Allah revealed some secrets to you-you will achieve His closeness. Standing with eyes open- you wili be pardoned. If he is glad- you will get pleasure and hear good news. If you see Him in the shape of a woman- He will be kind and beneficent to you. If He gives you a worldly thing- you will become seriously ill. If you see Him in the shape of a man- you will be forceful and commanding. If He appears at any place or house- there will be prosperity and peace. If He warns you- He is very angry with you and should repent. lf He calls you by any other name- you will be honored.
Seeing Allah in the Dream Standing Before Allah: If a person sees himself as a pious and chosen servant of Allah, Standing before Allah, beholding him, and He, in turn looking upon him with mercy and clemency then such a dream is regarded as very blessed dream. For it “means that he will meet his Creator in the same manner on the Dayof Qiyamah. This dream is also a glad tiding that his good actions in the world are accepted by Allah and he will attain Jannah.
A Material Gift from Allah: If a person sees Allah giving him something pertaining to the world, it means he will soon be afflicted with sickness. It may also mean that some hardship will befall him. As recompense, he shall receive great rewards from Allah which will earn him Jannah.
Seeing Allah in Someone’s Mouse: Seeing Allah present in a particular house suggests that the occupants of such a house will be favoured with peace, happiness and assistance.
Allah Warning Someone: If someone sees Allah reprimanding, warning or prohibiting him from doing something it means that he is indulging in abominable actions. He should reform without delay.
Allah Occupying someone’s bed: If someone sees Allah occupying his bed, congratulating him, then this is a glad tiding that Allah will grant him piety and saint hood and that Allah’s blessings will descend upon him. For, a dream such as this is not viewed but by pious and righteous persons.
Seeing Allah in the Form of a Picture: One who sees Allah in the form of a picture or he thinks he has seen Allah or someone resembling Allah it means that the observe of such a dream is a compulsive liar – levelling accusations against Allah and indulging in innovations (bid’aat). It is imperative that such a person hastens towards seeking Allah’s forgiveness. The same applies to a person who sees Allah in the form of an idoror any such form as is contrary to His excellence and sublimity. For, Allah Ta’ala is free from all blemishes and weaknesses.
An Incident: It is related that a man came to Ja’far As-saadiq (RTA) and said: “I dreamt that Allah gave me a piece of iron and a sip of vinegar. What is the interpretation of this dream?” The Religious leader replied: “Iron depicts hardships, for Allah says in the Qur’aan: And we have sent iron wherein is material for mighty war. But it is possible that your children may learn this trade of Dawood (AS) (for he was a blacksmith by trade). As for vinegar, it means you will be afflicted with a disease for some time, at the same time acquiring abundant wealth. Thereafter, if Allah gives you death, he will be pleased with you and forgive all your sins, past and future.
