Ibn Seerin recorded that the time of the day and days of the month influence the contents of dream interpretations. As an example if a person finds himself sitting on a road in a dream at night, this is interpreted as a great benefit to him. The same dream during daytime is interpreted as an act of divorcing his wife. However, there are many variables which influence the true interpretation of a dream. Imam Jaafar Sadiq calculated and compiled a table based on the influence of time on the interpretation of dreams. Table 1 is shown below, which represents some of the interpretations as influences by typical days of a month:……. According to llm-Jafr (prediction sciences) calculations, the dreams of 6,7,8,9,10,15,18,19 22, 27,and 30th days of a month are always true. The dreams of 4,5,11,12,16,17th days are sometime true and sometimes false. The dreams of 1, 13, 14, 20, 21, 25, 26, 28, and 29th days of a typical month are never true. The contrary dream days are 2, 3, 23, and 24th respectively. The dreams on the 22nd day of a month are aiways bearers of happiness and glad tidings. Ibn Seerin had described that the dreams of early night take about ten years to fulfill its prophecy, whereas midnight dreams take five months and morning dreams become effective within ten days.
