Fine and smells good- you’ll pay Zakat. Your wealth will be safe. Torn- you’ll be a sinner. Knitting it- you’ll have good relations with your relatives. Girl sees it- she’ll get married soon. Wearing in winter- you’ll be profited. Wearing in summer- you’ll be harassed. Of silk- have a good servant or wife. Black- you’ll be a reformer. Red- your wife or servant is reliable. Torn or burnt- the servant will die.
Good Smelling Sock:
It symbolizes the security of his wealth. If they are without any defect, giving off a good odour, it means he will discharge Zakaah and his wealth will remain protected against all calamities. Also his wealth will be purified and his own condition will improve.
Torn Socks:
If the socks are seen as torn or part of it as ruined, it means he will not discharge his Zakaah nor will he give charity. We seek Allah’s protection from this.
Leather Socks or Khuff:
It symbolizes the security of a person’s livelihood. If they are not defective it means he will continue to receive lawful sustenance. At times it symbolizes grief and sorrow as well.
